Description
Captured during my first visit to Timberline Lodge on June 13, 2010, this is a long exposure of star trails over Mt. Hood.
I carried my tent and sleeping bag and went snowshoeing up to 7000 feet elev. With the helps of my hiking pole, my 2nd attempt of tent setup was successful. Otherwise I would not have this photo because it was too windy and cold to do long exposure without shelter or tent.
It was my first ever unforgettable overnight shooting above clouds and in snow zone.
